Pocket Moth is finally live
Pocket Moth is now live on the App Store — a small, gentle thank-you note after months of building.
Pocket Moth is finally live on the App Store.
It has been months in the making, and I'm honestly so grateful to finally be able to share it. You can find the download link on the homepage, and I'll leave it again at the end of this post.
Pocket Moth is a small, gentle wellbeing companion for the everyday moments when you need a softer pause, a little quiet company, help starting one tiny thing, or a calmer way to wind down at night.
I'd also like to say a very real thank you to my wife for supporting me through all these months.
I'd be lying if I said I found any of this easy. Coding was difficult. Making Pocket Moth feel soft and warm was difficult. Even creating the little images and getting the feeling right took a lot more work than I expected. I was originally a history major turned lawyer, so this was very, very far outside my usual world.
But somehow, little by little, Pocket Moth became real.
And by the time the app is live, it will also be my wife's birthday.
Happy birthday to the most beautiful, sweet, and empathetic person I've ever met.
I know this past year has been one of your hardest. Between long working hours, long nights studying, hospital stress, and everything you still carried at home, you have had so much on your shoulders. And somehow, through all of that, you still gave so much love, care, patience, and support.
I'm so proud of everything you do. I see the work you put in for both of us. I see the cooking, the cleaning, the little chores, the quiet sacrifices, the way you take care of me and our home even when you're tired. None of it is small to me. I'm grateful for every bit of it, and I'm grateful for you more than I can properly say.
You are almost at the finish line, and I hope you know how deeply proud I am of you.
I love you so much. I hope you enjoy the birthday surprise I have planned for you.
Sorry, I know that's a little sappy. But truly, if not for my wife, this app would never have become a thing.
I really hope Pocket Moth can be useful to you in the same gentle way it has been useful to us.
